Cholera Vaccine 

Cholera is spread through water and food contaminated with Cholera bacteria. It can cause life-threatening watery diarrhea and vomiting. Cholera vaccines can help prevent cholera. 

Cholera vaccinations are recommended if you are traveling to an area where cholera is present, or where the water and food are unsafe to drink and eat. 

All vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers should be careful of food and drink in areas with Cholera. 

Contraindications: 

-Previous Allergic reaction to Cholera vaccine or to any component of the vaccine. 

Precautions: 

-Children age <2 years 

-Adults aged ≥65 years 

-Pregnancy 

-Breastfeeding 

-Persons with altered Immunocompetence
