Contraindications to Tafenoquine (Arakoda)
-Patients with glucose-6-phosphatase dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency or in patients
who have not been tested for G6PD deficiency
-Children
-Pregnant women
-Women who are breastfeeding unless the infant has tested negative for G6PD
deficiency
-Not recommended in those with psychotic disorders
